Cherry Fennel
One of the few commercial jams made with tart cherries from Michigan, we have selected a species of fennel that combines with this particular cherry to give our Cherry Fennel Spiced Jam an anise (almost licorice) finish. Cherry lovers are quick to latch on to this flavor; and they send us emails all the time telling us the ways they eat it. We also hear from fennel lovers who are delighted to find yet another application for their favorite spice. Here are some of the ways people eat our Cherry Fennel Spiced Jam:
| • | On the side with prosciutto. |
 |
| • | As a complement to duck or game. |
| • | With Fresh Chevre or Oussau-Iraty Cheese. |
| • | Right out of the jar, with a spoon (no kidding!). |
